"Coast
to Country" Touring Glider Flight
Departing from Caboolture Airfield, 40 minutes north of Brisbane,
you will cruise out to Mt Beerwah, around Crookneck and Mt Tibrogargan
in the fabulous Glasshouse Mountains and ontoMaleny
we will then climb to 4500 feet, shut down the engine and begin
gliding towards Caloundra while taking in views up the Sunshine Coast,
down the Pumicestone Passage and out to Moreton Island. The engine
will be restarted around Moffat Head for a cruise around
Caloundra headland and the northern tip of Bribie Island. We will track along Pumicestone Passage while climbing to 3,500 ft
in preparation for a glide back to Caboolture Airfield.
