"Magnificent
Moreton" Touring Glider Flight
On Climb to 4,500 feet we will
cruise past Caloundra the Pumicestone Passage and Bribie Island
across Moreton Bay, glide into Tangalooma Wrecks and Resort
on Moreton Island. Take in the best views of Tangalooma Wrecks
and the Wild Dolphin Resort. We will cross to the Pacific Ocean
side, track north up the beach to Cape Moreton. In whale season
you are almost guaranteed to see whales. We will then climb
to 4,500 feet and glide across the breathtaking Spitfire Channel
to the Glasshouse Mountain's. We will cruise past Mt Tibrogargan
& Mt Beerwah and on climb to 4500 feet for a relaxing glide
back towards Maroochydore Airport.
Whale Season is here - we are regularly seeing whales off Cape Moreton. A fantastic spectacle seeing these amazing creatures from the air as they breach and play. |
